Based in Chudleigh, Devon, Evergreen Estates (SW) Ltd is an independent, local house builder, committed to building unique, high-quality homes throughout the South West and beyond. We endeavour to provide new homes that are built to a high standard of design and build quality, whilst also being sympathetic to the local setting and the communities in which we build.

No two communities are the same, as each one is designed uniquely to balance its location. Therefore, each new home that we build is individually designed to enhance and strengthen the local community. We create bespoke new neighbourhoods, that are sympathetic to their location, guaranteeing that they reflect and celebrate the characteristics and style of their surroundings.
Our homes are designed for a range of clientele in mind; from first time buyers, to families, working professionals and those who are wishing to downsize their existing home. Each home is finished to a high standard, with furnishings including, a hob, oven and extractor fan as standard, some upgrades may be available depending on the development and build stage.
As we are a local company, we strive to employ local people, from carpenters and plasterers, to landscapers and site operatives. This, in turn, sees us giving back to the surrounding community and helping to boost the local economy.

Alex our Co-owner/Managing Director has over 20 years’ experience in housebuilding, with a track record of delivering high-quality developments across the Southwest. Passionate about creating thriving communities, Alex supports Evergreen Estates’ growth with expertise in land acquisition, urban regeneration and customer-focused design.
Gareth
Gareth Hughes, founder of Evergreen Estates (SW) Ltd, brings 20+ years of experience in residential and commercial construction. Known for his focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability, Gareth is a passionate leader committed to creating lasting communities and driving positive change through thoughtful, eco-conscious development.
Nick
Nick leads the commercial and contractual activities at Evergreen Estates’, bringing over 30 years of construction industry experience, Chartered Member status, and a Law Degree.
